This year marks the tenth anniversary of our mission to: promote the work of women writers who are adventurous, experimental, politically involved, multi-form, multicultural, multi-gendered, impossible to define, delicious to talk about, unpredictable, and dangerous with language. Our anniversary Elders Series highlights the fact of influence and continuity of ideas, poetics, and concerns we circle through.

For this special series we will be publishing a limited edition, series of 8 perfect-bound books. Each book will be an anthology and a conversation between the guest curator and the elder(s) she hosts. This is the first book in The Elders Series and the 118th book in the overall Belladonna reading series.
