Belladonna* Collaborative is waking up from winter hibernation to invite you to our first event of 2026, Cura Parentis: poets on caring for their parents.

Join us on February 5th at Sunview Acropolis for readings and an accompanying chaplet from Lorenzo Bueno, Tess Brown-Lavoie, Carolyn Ferrucci, Early Shinada, Laura Brown-Lavoie, and Levy Erwin. 

Inspired by Belladonna*'s latest title Matrix Lux, a meditation on illness and spirituality, written by Lila Zemborain and translated by her son and then-caretaker Lorenzo Bueno, we will celebrate and honor the poets who care, the poetics of care, and poetics as care. Both the book and the chaplet will be available at the reading.
